OATMEAL WAFFLES
Here's another way we use oatmeal. These higher fiber waffles are easy and delicious!
Makes 6-8 waffles 1½ cups quick oats ½ cup whole wheat flour 1 tsp baking soda 1 tsp sugar ½ tsp salt 2 cups buttermilk 2 eggs 2 tbsp butter, melted In a bowl, combine the dry ingredients. In another bowl combine the wet ingredients. Stir the wet ingredients into the dry, gently until smooth. Bake in a hot greased waffle iron. |
